This study aims to
identify the importance of singing heritage and preserve it in Yemen. The study sheds light on the importance of popular songs in Yemen and
the necessity of preserving and integrating them into modern society. The
research emphasizes the need to increase interest in folkloric musical heritage
through serious efforts in its collection, documentation, and classification.
The establishment of specialized centers is deemed crucial for safeguarding
this cultural wealth. The study also underscores the importance of integrating
heritage into cultural and educational programs, encouraging the use of media
and digital technology for its dissemination and appreciation. It advocates for
specialized educational programs and competitions at all levels to preserve
cultural identity and national belonging. Yemen's musical heritage is
considered an integral part of cultural memory, playing a positive role in
preserving collective cultural memory. In conclusion, the study supports
comprehensive efforts to collect, document, classify, archive, and digitize
